Serving at Central

Strategic service makes a difference!

Get involved in teams like . . .

Be the first to welcome guests as soon as they arrive, answer any questions people might have, help find the best seats available, and pray with those who just made the most important decision of their lives: accepting Christ.

Help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. Operate cameras, lights, screens, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage. No experience required.

Central Kids and Students

Be a part of shaping the next generation by engaging children and teens with the Gospel. Help them build their faith through Bible study, worship and group activities. Work behind the scenes to provide the best experience possible for both kids and parents. Please note, additional screening and training are required for volunteers to work with children and teens. Assist staff with projects and administrative tasks, as well as preparation for the upcoming worship experiences. All Support opportunities are during the week at the church offices.

Helping Hands

Help the elderly, widows, and single mothers with home repairs and physical needs.

Food Pantries

Many individuals in the greater Streator area are in need of one of the most basic needs, food.  Central partners with four food pantries in the Streator area to provide timely assistance to these individuals.

Funeral Dinners

Dealing with grief and loss can be one of life’s most difficult challenges.  Through our funeral ministry, we offer a warm meal to families who are grieving.

Lifeline Meal Packing

Lifeline Meal Packing is more important than ever! Families in Haiti, Guatemala, Cuba, and Honduras are experiencing economic hardship, and the meals that we pack help to sustain their needs.  Our yearly goal is the packing 50,000 meals.
