We offer several tools to help you find the right ministry team to serve with.
During our First Step class, our staff and ministry leaders share details about their ministries and how you can get started serving with them.

Central Kids and Students
Be a part of shaping the next generation by engaging children and teens with the Gospel. Help them build their faith through Bible study, worship and group activities. Work behind the scenes to provide the best experience possible for both kids and parents. Please note, additional screening and training are required for volunteers to work with children and teens. Atmosphere
Be the first to welcome guests as soon as they arrive, answer any questions people might have, help find the best seats available, and pray with those who just made the most important decision of their lives: accepting Christ. To get involved in one of our many teams that make up this ministry, please contact Jessica Pastirik.
Tech
Help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. Operate cameras, lights, screens, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage. No experience required. Our Tech ministry is part of our Creative Arts ministry led by Tony Ross.
Office Support
Assist staff with projects and administrative tasks, as well as preparation for the upcoming worship experiences. All Support opportunities are during the week at the church offices. Julie Happold coordinates this ministry.
Helping Hands
Help the elderly, widows, and single mothers with home repairs and physical needs.
Funeral Dinners
Dealing with grief and loss can be one of life’s most difficult challenges. Through our funeral ministry, we offer a warm meal to families who are grieving. Darlene Lamb leads this ministry.
Food Pantries
Many individuals in the greater Streator area are in need of one of the most basic needs, food. Central partners with four food pantries in the Streator area to provide timely assistance to these individuals.
Lifeline Meal Packing
Lifeline Meal Packing is more important than ever! Families in Haiti, Guatemala, Cuba, and Honduras are experiencing economic hardship, and the meals that we pack help to sustain their needs. Our yearly goal is the packing 50,000 meals.
